Founding of the Kingdom

A New Era.

The Unification Wars ended when the chieftain of the last tribe, Black Scorpion, was executed.

Xath, the chieftain who started the unification, named his unified territory the Kingdom of Zegon with the belief that his kingdom is the only one in the world, and declared himself King. Kelsius, Xath's chief advisor who was also a great mathematician and an astrologer, created a calender based on the movements of the Sol, with the day of declaration as the first day of 1 AFZ (After the Founding of Zegon) and the days before founding as BFZ (Before the Founding of Zegon.)

Establishing the Kingdom.

Xath officiated his army as the Grand Army of Zegon with his champion Harlek as the High Commander. Harlek sent the regiments to various parts of Zegon to exterminate wild animals and monsters, under the command of the regiments' newly promoted commanders. Harlek and a group of commanders remained with Xath to establish the doctrines and protocols of the Grand Army.

Xath recruited masons, sculptors, and volunteer labor to build the Zegon Palace in the new capital located in the middle of his kingdom. He moved into his Palace one year later.

Lords of the Kingdom.

Xath confer upon the former chieftains of his ally tribes Red Eagle, Brown Horse and Blue Falcon the title of Lords. The new Lords retained rulership to the lands of their former tribes. The lands that previously belonged to the tribe of Green Spider was granted to Xath II, the crown prince. Kelsius was rewarded with Lordship and was given the lands that previously belonged to the tribe of White Snake. Harlek was also rewarded with Lordship, on top of his title as the High Commander of the Grand Army of Zegon. The lands that previously belonged to the tribe of Black Scorpion was given to Harlek. Harlek left the ruling of his lands to his wife while he focused on leading the Grand Army. The lands that previously belonged to Xath's Grey Wolf Tribe were retained by Xath.

Expansion of the Kingdom.

In 2 AFZ, one of the army regiments discovered a small sea-faring tribe, the tribe of the Silver Fish. A representative of Silver Fish called for an audience with Xath and conveyed his chieftain's desire to cede his tribe to Xath. In return, the chieftain was made a Lord and retained rulership to his lands.

After the last of the regiments of the Grand Army have returned to Xath, he sent out his stone masons and subjects to build roads to link up the most populated areas of the kingdom. The population clusters of the 8 former tribes and the capital later became the 9 cities of the kingdom.
