Heldar's Resurgence.

The Resurgence of the Barbarian Insurgence, led by Heldar, went smoothly and successfully as the Warriors destroyed both the Zegon Monastery and the Hall of the Anointed swiftly and boldly. Due to the intervention of the Guild, a failed attack on the Protectorate's Division Headquarters in the northern city Znyke cost Heldar many Warrior lives. Heldar took revenge by laying a trap, luring its Guildmaster Morok out into the open and killing him in a duel. Morok's head was displayed before the gates of Lord Kelsius's castle, signalling the start of a full-scale attack on Znyke.

Heldar's Miscalculation.

Heldar orchestrated attacks on the homes of the wealthy in Znyke, plundering resources to fund the Insurgence; and destroyed city infrastructure to further the city's downfall. While the attacks are taking place, Heldar took the time to summon Barbarian Warriors from other parts of the kingdom and recruit new Warriors to bolster the ranks of his army.

In 26 AFZ, a year after Heldar's warning to Lord Kelsius, he believed that he had sufficiently crippled the city and mustered a strong force. He led an audacious attack on Kelsius' castle with the intention of conquering the city. Unfortunately, Kelsius had already sent word to other cities for reinforcement and managed to strengthen the defenses of his castle secretly. Heldar's Warriors met with strong resistance from the Protectors guarding Kelsius's castle. While the Warriors were sieging the castle, Protectors from Znyke's Division Headquarters arrived, setting up a pincer movement that crushed the Warriors. Heldar barely escaped with his life. With the most of his Warriors captured or killed, he had no choice but to lay low and rebuild his army.

The end of the Barbarian Insurgence.

Heldar was still eager to execute his plans. He tried to rally more Warriors to his cause. However, his plans had led to the deaths of too many Warriors with nothing to show for it. He had grand plans and ambitions but lacked the charisma that Redjya possessed. For years, Heldar tried to convince the Barbarian Warrior communities to join his cause but did not enjoy success.

Without a strong leader to rally the Barbarian Warriors, they splintered. They resumed their old ways of seeking adventures in the wild, hunting for pleasure and game.

The Barbarian Insurgence have finally came to an end.
